God has been so good to us in 2018. We were able to serve 143 students this year (22 more than last year), we have a new partnership with a Guatemalan dental school, we have been kept safe from two volcanic eruptions, we added one new Guatemalan administrator and several new passionate volunteers, every student and teacher received new shoes, we replaced old desks with new tables in half of the classrooms and have served the local community with discounted medicine and food. To cap off this amazing year, IMA supporters rallied around the purchase of a new pick-up truck to transport weekly food and donation shipments.
IMA has been busy this year and God’s hand has been hard at work in Guatemala. Its amazing to see what we can accomplish together with willing hearts and a passion to be a part of God’s movement.
As we plan for next school year, we are in search of 15 new sponsors. Although we have about 45 unsponsored students, in order to close the gap in our operating budget, we need to expand our IMA family to include 15 more committed people to support our girls.
